Arnsburg Hof Staging Post
From the beginning of the 13th century Gelnhausen had a trading centre belonging to the Cistercian monastery of Arnsburg in the Wetterau. In the 18th century the centre was rebuilt in Baroque style. Today the Arnsburger Hof is one of the few Baroque stone buildings in Gelnhausen.

The construction of St Peter’s church started at the end of the 12th century.
Gelnhausen was founded in 1170 by Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa
It is a modern architectural decoration from 2002 designed by the Gelnhausen artist Achim Gogler.
The draw well of the Teutonic Order still exists in their former trading post in Holzgasse
